Lectures

This is a lecture I gave an Clarke University in the Spring of 2018. The lectures serves as a “crash course” in redox biology for students in an upper-level biochemistry course.

These lessons lectures given by me in a Radiation Therapy course and cover topics such as normal tissue responses to radiation, tumor hypoxia, and the role of the oxygen effect in biological responses to ionizing radiation.

Below is a lecture on “Late Deterministic and Stochastic Effects of Radiation” I delivered to a Radiation Safety and Radiobiology course at the University of Iowa.

Lessons

This activity is designed to serve as an interaction lesson for an introductory biology course. It introduces the “Central Dogma of Biology” and provides a walkthrough on how to use the simulation provided by PhET simulation linked here.
